Bí yếu nói: "Đạo sĩ chi trách, tại hộ quốc an dân; pháp bất vi tư, công quy thiên địa." Nghĩa: Trách nhiệm đạo sĩ là hộ nước yên dân; pháp không vì tư, công về trời đất. Gồm pháp trấn tà, trị bệnh ôn, đảo vũ. Dụng cốt: Lòng công chính là Dụng Thần của pháp; tư dục làm pháp suy. Giải: Học pháp để cứu người, không để khoe tài hay hại đời.
