Tiên truyện ba quyển, Thiên Thai sơn đạo sĩ Vương Tùng Niên (Đường mạt–Ngũ Đại/Tống). Thể «biên châu» (theo Mông Cầu): tứ ngôn vận ngữ làm cương, tự chú dẫn Đạo kinh, Trang tử, Liệt Tiên Truyện, Thần Tiên Truyện… Thống kê ~300 nhân vật từ nguyên thủy thiên vương, thiên hoàng, phục hy, bàn cổ đến Đường mạt. Cốt lõi: «đại đạo tự nhiên, hỗn độn chi tiên»; thu thập chứng quả thành tiên, phục thực, thi giải, bạch nhật thăng thiên, để làm quỹ tích học đạo. Không phải pháp thuật đơn lẻ mà là phổ hệ tiên đạo, «tu chân học đạo chứng quả thành tiên giả hà đại vô nhân».

Unlike 玄品录, which ranks worthies by mysterious grade, 仙苑编珠 emphasizes jewel-like condensation of exemplary episodes. Unlike doctrinal scriptures that argue from cosmology, it argues from case collection. The difference is method of proof: inductive hagiographic anthology versus hierarchical catalog or metaphysical thesis.
