明陆西星（潜虚子）东派丹书，收于《方壶外史》。以七篇破除学道蔽障：破非（辨不得已而辩）、破伪（炮胎辟谷、铅剑开关、倒挂曲睡、外丹点化等伪术）、破执（破体后独修己身精气神不能复先天真乙）、破邪（九一术、先天梅子、红铅、开关铸剑、人元秋石等）、破疑（丹经为试金石，不可废经专信时师一言半句）、破愚（盲炼炉火、凡砂水银）、破痴（强富沉溺爱河、日暮始修则卦数满而药材亏）。核心术语：先天真乙、形以道全命以术延、破体、还丹。力辟闺丹炉火搬运，主张师授真传与丹经互证。

The treatise proves the true Path by exhaustive negation: seven major classes of pseudo-Dao (side doors) are shown to fail internal consistency, produce opposite effects, or confuse means with ends. If a practice cannot survive critical refutation without appealing to secrecy or authority, it cannot be the universal Dao. Thus orthodoxy is defined not by lineage prestige alone but by surviving logical and empirical “breaking.”
1. Build a personal “seven breaks” checklist for any BaZi/alchemy advice: does it force, leak, externalize, mystify, agitate, commercialize, or freeze fate? 2. When a chart reading predicts doom without remedy, break fatalism—reframe as imbalance to reverse. 3. Reject sexual-alchemy or drug shortcuts even if chart shows “peach blossom” or “strong desire stars.” 4. Use refutation in study: for each classic claim, state what would falsify it. 5. Prefer methods that quiet leakage (speech, lust, anger, overwork) over methods that add exotic techniques.
Unlike 玄机直讲, which affirms by plain teaching, 七破论 affirms by demolition of rivals—its logic is via negativa. It is harsher and more polemical than 悟道录’s gradual personal narrative. Its uniqueness lies in treating orthodoxy as what remains after systematic logical destruction of side-doors.
