Linh Bảo diên thọ thiên tôn giảng “chân đạo” bất sinh bất diệt, khuyên đốt hương hành đạo, bố thí phóng sinh, tụng kinh–bản mệnh trai dáo để chú toán thần vương tấu công, diên mệnh tập phúc.

即《太上灵宝天尊说延寿妙经》（亦称大帝／延寿天尊系延命经典）。灵宝延寿天尊在南极天中金光山宝林树下说经，论虚无大道。定义「真道」：不生不灭、无去无来；一切法相虚妄。延命法门非仅神通，而在精心烧香行道、布施放生、建造功德、念经供养、本命斋醮；则有注算、记名、落死、上生诸神王录功上奏，金帛丰足、永保安宁。偈强调慈孝、修善、写经造像以延寿。术语：延寿天尊、注算神王、落死神王、本命斋醮、不生不灭真道。
