Kinh Linh Bảo hệ (Động Huyền), lấy «viên minh» làm tông—trí tuệ viên mãn sáng suốt thấu suốt pháp tính. Giáo nghĩa xoay quanh đại nghĩa viên minh: chư pháp bản tính viên chiếu bất muội, như mặt trời giữa trời, không thiên không khuyết; chúng sinh vì vọng niệm che lấp nên mất viên minh, trôi trong sinh tử. Phương pháp: y Linh Bảo quán tưởng, tụng trì, khai viên minh tuệ, dung hợp không–hữu, độ mình độ người. Thuật ngữ: viên minh đại nghĩa, linh bảo, quán chiếu, bản tính thường chiếu, khai ngộ pháp môn. Gắn với truyền thống Linh Bảo độ nhân và nghĩa học Đường–Tống.
