《正统道藏》正一部，一卷，撰人不详，避“渊”讳，约唐。托老子说，分三：一、明镜“四规之道”——九寸明镜前后左右，以阴发阳，分身散形、逆见方来、役使百灵；二、合神药与辟谷；三、戒淫戒贪戒欲。强调密靖幽室、精思勿惊，一惊则败。属早期存思镜鉴术与上清、太清神视传统，为视觉存神、外景返照之内炼法门。

The Bright Mirror Scripture proves that true seeing is achieved by making the mind a luminous mirror: spirits, forms, and destinies become knowable when the reflective surface is polished of dust. It argues that clarity is an optical-spiritual condition, not intellectual accumulation. Divination, self-knowledge, and theophany share one mechanism—undefiled reflection.
1) BaZi reading posture: empty the mirror before interpreting—bias is dust. 2) Train short ‘mirror sits’: pure awareness without commentary, then look at the chart. 3) Use water-rich chart periods for scrying-like introspection; use metal for decisive polishing (cutting delusion). 4) When clients demand flattering readings, refuse—distorted mirror is false scripture. 5) Evening review: what emotional dust entered today, wipe once.
Unlike 内观经, which emphasizes inspecting the inner landscape of Dao-nature, 明鉴 stresses the optical metaphor of reflection and often theurgical seeing. It differs from 定观经 by focusing less on staged calming taxonomy and more on luminous epistemic purity. The logic is mirror-epistemology as salvation tech.
